There BETTER be more. You probably think this blog is for your own expression and stuff, but SOME of us need it with the morning coffee. I saw the painting before the photos. You have so much talent and there is a gentleness of eye in your work--yet passion, too. Your eye is different, but I'm not sure what it is. Never mind. It's just good to see your work.

I have quite a few friends out there who would love your work. I'll be interested to know when you do this, so I can time a visit and get them to see your work. I am housebound much of my life and I get thirsty to see new artwork. My favorite thing to do with one friend was to go to juried art/craft shows and treat them like living museums, drink in the art work of those who are doing it NOW. Your landscape is NOT the norm of most of what one sees of Cape landscapes. So, yes, I get excited by it. Did you write that your wife's an artist, too?

Hi-
I know what you mean. I get charged by seeing art.. whether it is the galleries on 6a or one of the little art shows on the lawn of brewster town hall or at drummer boy park. One of the best parts of this annual trip is that our friend Laura joins us from Chicago and we all prowl the galleries together and talk art all week. My wife Wendy is a marketing writer with a really great blog of her own. She has a really strong eye for composition and is getting into photography a little herself.
