Autumn Reflections

Autumn Reflections - Queensboro Brook Harriman State Park
Fall will be approaching quickly here in the north-east. some of the early color is here already... I love this time of year when the fall color is on its way in, but there is still plenty of green to play it off of. I can be found in the woods three or four times a week from now until the peak fall colors.

Fall is my favorite season for photography. I walked about three miles yesterday to capture some shots on a local pond. I absolutely love your first shot here.

Hi Pilgrimchick - I think you are right. The first one is the strongest. It was my first shot of the day. I probably walked another 3 miles after I took this. I was off trail and following the meanderings of a small creek. I kept saying I'll head back after the next elbow turn in the creek. It was a great hike... My legs feel it today.

Wow that first shot is exquisite.

Hi Janice - Yep. I was 10 minutes into the walk when I found that shot. I really could have stopped there, but I kept expecting more. I got a few more shots, but the first one was the shot of the day.
