My creative demon (or angel depending on your point of view) gets inspired by some of the oddest things. I have been carrying this broken old pocket watch around for almost 30 years. Last night I decided to explore it with my 100mm macro lens. There is plant I can do with this. I may work on it some more today.

I want the top one. It belongs ENORMOUS, as an entry picture. I just love it. Now this one I prefer as the color study. I wonder why the buildings I wanted in the black and white, but the watch riveted me in color. Anyway, I can see why your creative demgel... angon... why it inspired you to create.
Hi Jeannette - I think I'll call it the Muse for now.
I agree 100% when I saw that I had picked up the reflected blues and reds I expiated it and pushed the saturation. I agree I think this will make a great large piece. There is a new type of print done on Aluminum that it may be perfect for. I also played with some grunge filters using Snapseed bt Nik Software. Up until now it was only for the iPad, but they added the MAC OS and it was a great test.
Hmm now whether to paint or take photos....
Angel. Definitely an angel!
You've captured the inner workings of a pocket watch brilliantly in that photo. I've never seen the quality of macro camera work used so well!
Thank you Pocket Watches.
