The wonderful folks over at Community Photo Challenge had two challenges this month. This is my contribution for Vanishing Point. It was taken in IR B&W at Skylands, The New Jersey Botanical Garden.
Hi Marie - I had an older camera body converted just for IR. I had always loved shooting IR on film and had missed it a great deal. I am looking forward to shooting a bunch of it next week on Cape Cod.
This is a wonderful image. The contrasting perspectives, the verticals of the trees and the horizontals of the clouds make it for me. It has both strong composition and atmosphere. What more could anyone want?

How did you do the infrared? Did you use a converted camera or just a filter?? :) excellent all around image, the IR gave it a nice touch!

Thank You Dave! I love the way B&W and Infra Red make me see things and shoot them totally differently.
