The next subject I want to tackle is waterfalls and running streams. This is a quick sketch of a spot in Harriman State Park I like to photograph. I am thinking I will head out there with a sketch book and paints instead of a camera and see what I can do.Keep Makin' Art

Great idea. I photographed one in a park in Barcelona. I also made a watercolour study of it. It's the watercolour that pleases me now.
Thanks Dave! This was a first stab at a subject I have not tried. It is not yet where I want it to be, but I do enjoy the fresh quality of it. I am constantly amazed when folks see my sketch books and oo and ah over them. I tend to see the sketches as just a part of the process... My Wife keeps wanting to frame the sketches... I kind of like them together as reference.
