More Images from Grand Central - NYC in Black and White

I spent a little more time this week working on the photos from Grand Central Terminal in NYC.  I originally saw this as a series in color because of the green backdrop of the mural of the constellations, but the more I look work with and view the images I think the architecture and the space is shown off better in warm toned black and white images....

What do you think? (There are no wrong answers.  I am curious what you think.)

Keep Makin' Art!

Thanks Rie! I am still trying to decide, but I think the B+Ws speak to me the strongest.

I think I agree with you, Carl. If what draws you as an artist the most is the architecture, the warm B&W seems the most effective to me. The constellations show up well, so that is not lost.

I used to see Grand Central when I was little, and what I remember is the grandeur and details. Unlike Rie, I don't remember color at all. I love the warm tones of the stonework in the first COLOR photo of the 1/15 group. But that is what I remember of ALL the color when I was a kid. That neutral beige, and the detailing.

I'll stop blithering. I really love this series. Dave said it just fine.

Thanks Jeannette - I am really pleased with these and will be putting one of them in the show at St Catherine of Bologna that I show in each year.
