Watercolor - Nobska Sunset - Cape Cod

First watercolor on Cape Cod this year.  Nobska Lighthouse at Sunset.  Hurricane Irene got me off to a late start, but I am painting now and will be for the remainder of the week.

Keep Makin' Art!

Thanks Mom. I am very happy with it. I hay do another version with a bit better drawing and take my time, but i love the effect and may try some paintings of Venice this way.

Looks good to me Little Cuz.

Thanks Cuz. I love the colors in this one and how they play together. Just a little tweak to the composition and shape of the lighthouse in the next one. I'll probably start another scene first and try to finish before we head for home on Saturday morning.

I've said this a lot of times, but it never ceases to be true - I always envy the ones who can paint. I used to do that, a long time ago, and I just wish I had picked it up when I could... this one is inspiring, really...

Thank you Arnab. This one has a nice quality about it. I picked up watercolor 10 years ago when I broke my toe on vacation and needed something to do. I have been hooked on watercolor ever since.
