It is a creative weekend for me as i also printed and framed the prints for this years Art Show in Ringwood. It is one of my favorite events of the year. i find it amazing that a small church in New Jersey can pull off such a great show with so many awesome artworks to see.

I can't tell you how highly I rate this. Alpha+, I suppose, gets somewhere near. The style is perfect for the subject, the composition is spot on, even in the details - eg. the white vertical down the side of the bonnet. Great stuff, indeed!
Thanks Dave. I should have tried this sooner. My drawing on white paper tends to get muddy. Here I am only concerned with finding the light values and the dark values. The mid tone is already there. Then it is a matter of shading to get a sense of shape to it. I REALLY enjoyed doing this.
