A quick trip into the city tonight to do test shots for some night photos I would like to do from the top of Rockefeller Center.  These turned out pretty good, but will not be useable for big prints.  I wound up shooting at 1600 ISO and nearly wide open on the lens hand held.  A small tripod will greatly improve the next series.  Tripods are not strictly allowed, but I saw several people using small table top ones and  they were not being hassled by the security folks.  This is definitely a spot I would like to do some more series work at.

Keep Makin' Art!

Do you mean tripods are not allowed for security reasons?

These are stunning. As a set, I am bowled over by them. I can't wait to see how you will follow them!

Dave I thought of you when I saw the bottom photo. I was haunted by the idea for a poem of a building trapped in the reflection of another building.
