I find I like the idea of carnivals more than the actual thing... but I do enjoy photographing them. One day I would like to photograph behind the scenes at a travelling circus in B&W. That would be diferent for me.
I agree Cuz. The idea of the carnival is so much more appealing then the carnival itself.....You should read "Water For Elephants". It would give you a glinpse into behind the scenes (granted 50-60 years ago) before you go and "shoit" one for yourself xooxox

Interesting to compare these two... my preference is for the top one, but the geometric nature of the subject helps them to succeed on several levels.
Hi Dave - I am not blown away by these, but the carnival is still in town. It is possible I will take another crack at them.
