The Old Pocket Watch - Revisited

I took a chance to revisit the old pocket watch I photographed about a month ago.  this time I used my LensBaby double glass setup with closeup lenses.  I may need to buy a few broken old watches and make s series of these.

I am reminded you can find art in the most mundane items if you just look at them differently!

I know, I know, I always seem to see your stuff immediately, lately. I LOVE the color in these. The details are simply beautiful. I can see how they would also inspire a painting.

Yes, you can find art anywhere. I have just started to read a novel called Angelmaker. It is about automata and clockwork mechanisms - and intrigue, of course! Your images would make an excellent accompaniment to it.

Jeannette - Seems like an ambitious painting to me, but one that might be worth while. For now the photos are just fine. I think the colors really make the pieces too.

Dave - I am more and more interested in mechanical things as subjects.

Love the clock pictures. Not sure if it's the color or the content that really gets me. Either way, I enjoy them
