I have not had a camera in my hands in a few weeks.... The leaves have fallen and the tempo of life at work has increased. I can not believe I have not posted in two weeks. I have been on such a roll this year. It has felt weird not to post. I am afraid it will be more of the same this week. Hopefully this weekend I'll get out with the camera. I leave you with this image from fall of 2010 and wish all of you celebrating a happy Thanksgiving!
Keep Makin' Art!

A great picture Carl, you really captured that lovely fall light. Hopefully you will be back with camera in hand soon, I do enjoy your pictures.
Thanks Wendy! I will be in Upstate NY Wed - Sun. I hope to get out with my camera for a bit.

I assume these are not cause and effect.
You certainly have had a roll this year. An understatement, if ever there was one!
Thanks for posting this. With such quality what matters when it was taken!
Moondustwriter - Thanks the autumn in the north east is a real inspiration for me.
Dave - Hi! there is no cause and effect I can find just two forces keeping the camera in its bag for now. Thanks. It has been a great year out in the woods with my camera.
I remember that picture... at least I think I do. I AM kinda old. A picture arrived in the mail and I KNOW she will love it. I went without the matting because sometimes she likes them that way against her white walls. He house is tiny and "I like the space taken up by the pictures, not the matting."
It looks as if I'm looking out a window at it.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving, Carl.
Yeah, this is a really nice photo, Carl. And you know I understand how life and work get in the way of the love of the camera. It's hard to carve out the time sometimes. But, I know you'll be back out there hitting the ground soon! :)
Thanks Vicki! - I was able to get out for a ramble on Friday and get some great bird photos... Dry spell over I guess. Every year when the leaves are all off the trees i have a few weeks of little to no shooting.
