Autumn in Harriman State Park

Yesterday afternoon I took a hike in the woods at Harriman State Park.  It was good for my outlook and balance to hike.  I came away with these beautiful fall scenes.  I am really glad I got the chance to take some fall photos.  I was afraid this year I would not have another chance.  As I walked along I thought of my friend the poet and blogger Dave King who recently passed away.  It will be strange not seeing his posts here and I will miss reading his latest poems daily.  His support of this blog helped me to keep it going over times I wanted to set it aside and I think because of him I will continue to post my latest photos and thoughts here.

Keep Makin' Art!

A lovely tribute to Dave. There were times I would log on to comment, only to see that Dave had already posted. He would be able to put into words what I was thinking, but lacked the ability to convey. I couldn't come up with anything better. I think once I even posted "yeah, what Dave said". I usually wanted to say that everytime..teehee..
Continue your blog because it is what you love/want to do. Share your artistic gifts, and remember Dave when you do. I think that's nice tribute/memorial to him....xxoxoxoxo
PS..the photos are lovely
