Old House - Goshen, NY

I drive by this old house daily on my way to work.  Over the years it has started to look like the earth will swallow it whole one day.  It was a perfect subject for infrared photography.  Maybe I'll show you one of the color IR shots next.

Hey Cuz,
I've been looking at these pictures for several days. I so wish I had Dave's way with words. When I saw the first picture it took my breath away. It was lovely and sad at the same time. I imagined the families that lived and loved there. I guess as an attist that is what you go for, the emotion. Not always a happy one, but if it touches you, you (as the artist) have succeded.

Wow, that IR shot really gives a very dramatic look to the house. It kind of reminds me of some of the stuff Alfred Hitchcock use to do to create a really dramatic scene in his movies.
