Mom's photos from Stonybrook

I mentioned recently that my Mom (Pat) has been joining me on some of my hikes and bringing her camera.  The shots below are ones Mom tot and we edited together on my computer.  Great job Mom.  I am very proud of you for picking the camera back up.  You are taking some great shots.

You can see more of my moms photos on her blog Shared Musing.

Keep makin' Art!

Hi Jeannette - It has been great getting out on the trail with my mom and sharing some of my locations... After on a family vacation in Virginia in 1976 She let me graduate from the old kodak brownie I had been playing with to her 35mm SLR. It was from the 50's and had no light meter at all. At first I was lost and had no idea what to set the shutter and fstop to. Heck My brownie just had a button to take the exposure and a knob to advance the film. Mom taught me the 'sunny F16' rule. I have been hooked ever since and hundreds of thousands of exposures later I am getting to return the favor helping Mom get comfortable with her digital camera.
