Beyond the Visible Spectrum

I attended the opening of the Beyond the Visible Spectrum exhibit at the gallery at Digital Silver Imaging in Belmont Ma this past Thursday night.  The show includes two of my infrared photos along with the work of Laurie Klein, Tony Sweet and Ron Rosenstock.  The Infrared images are quite extraordinary and DSI did a great job printing and hanging the show.  Many Thanks to Eric Luden and the gang at DSI for a great event.  If you are in the area check out the show.

I will have a booth in the Suffern Street Fair on Sunday June 1st.  If you are in the area stop by and see my work.  I will have images from London, Italy and Suffern among others.

Upcoming events include the workshop I am teaching with Mike Malandra on June 10th (the workshop is full.  Details about our next one will be posted here on the blog.)

My solo show at the Flywheel Gallery will be called "Close to Home" and will include images taken with 50 miles of my home to showcase the beauty of the Hudson Valley.

Fresh Paint Gallery - Cape Cod

I cannot believe it has been a whole week since I last blogged.  Time is just running away from me.  I made a quick trip up to Cape Cod yesterday to hang images at Fresh paint Gallery.  I am very happy to be back in my home gallery on the Cape and am looking forward to a busy season and all the artists at Fresh Paint having a tremendous year.  I now have a nice mix of things going on.  Besides the Fresh paint I am also at Flywheel Gallery in Piermont, NY and will be in the St Catherine of Bologna show in Ringwood NJ in March.  Also on the books are two solo shows for this year.  I am off to the races in 2012!

Countdown to the Art Show at St Catherine's of Bologna - Ringwood NJ

11th Annual Photo, Art and Poetry Exhibition at St Catherine of Bologna, Ringwood NJ.

I went to the Exhibit at St. Catherine of Bologna, in Ringwood NJ today. Wenderina and my folks were with me. There was much excitement as my friend Mike Malandra alluded to the fact that I might have gotten an award at this show. Mike had taken first place in the photo/nature - landscape category with a great photo from Harriman State Park. (hearty congrats Mike!)

Not only did I take an award.... I took three!
