I found this peaceful scene during a workshop in Harriman State Park a few years ago. I need to go out to that spot again on a foggy morning. Even if I don't get any photos the spot is as serene as the photo makes it look.
I like this shot, and I would be curious to see what a long version would look like--to get a shot of the scene emphasizing the smallness of the man in the boat and the majesty of the environment. One scene, two different concepts.
Thank Krista - This summer has been as much of a boost to my photos as the winter was to my watercolor still life work. 2010 has been a Good year for me so far. Of course I am just trying to keep up with you and some of the other blogger/artists I follow!
