I have not had a camera in my hands in a few weeks.... The leaves have fallen and the tempo of life at work has increased.  I can not believe I have not posted in two weeks.  I have been on such a roll this year. It has felt weird not to post.  I am afraid it will be more of the same this week.  Hopefully this weekend I'll get out with the camera.  I leave you with this image from fall of 2010 and wish all of you celebrating a happy Thanksgiving!

A whole week of no pictures.

I woke up this morning and realized I have not taken any photos all week.  I will have to do something about that this weekend.... but I am not sure yet what.  I will post what ever I find.

What a week

Busy week here in NY.  I had no chance to shoot anything at all.... I will be heading out to Skylands this evening to check out the wildflower garden.  If I get anything good I will post tonight.

Well it happened... I crossed the seventy follower barrier on my blog. My thanks to everyone who joined over the months. This is my 474th post! I crack the 500 post ceiling this summer too. Thanks to all of my readers and followers.

You keep me going and help me to get out and photograph at 5am on the weekends instead of sleeping in.

Hi all-

No images today.... It has been a busy week. More of the same for the weekend... but I will get out and take some photos Saturday morning. I would really like to push some paint around too. Whatever I get done I will post here for you to see.

Anyone have any big artistic plans for the weekend?

Hello Fellow Artists-

I just noticed something funny. I put out a post on 1/14 that I would be offline for a week while I was on my visit to California. Yet somehow I have managed to do eight posts since then! I should go on break more often!

I am back at home now. The house is cozy and warm. I only hope I can keep up the pace of posted I had while I was on vacation.

PS - Thanks to Jo at Majority of Two for being named a blog of note. The increase in traffic to her site has lead to a quadrupling in the number of followers of my blog. Kind of a shirt-tail effect. Now the pressure is on to be interesting and funny and post often!

I managed to photograph this little visitor while he was eating the mulberries out of the tree in my back yard.... I wish he would skim all of the fallen berries out of the pool when he's done!

Hi Friends and Fellow Artists:
I am glad I painted on Sunday! Today was GRAY and BLAH. There was nothing that inspired me to paint. That and being at work for 11 hours. Who's got the energy to paint after that. I wont bore you with work details... we all have to do that and I would bore you. I am looking forward to painting this weekend. I have nothing on the schedule except art and a few projects around the house.
