I started reviewing images from Harriman State Park over the years. This is from the first time I took my first digital SLR out on a hike along StonyBrook in 2006. I may have to go back over the 20 plus times I have photographed there and see what else I shot and did not edit. There may be more winners in there waiting...

This is a real beauty. The leaves must have been sent from heaven just for your benefit. Obviously, you have friends in high places - that explains a lot!
ReplyDeleteDave- Yes the reds to break up and compliment the green add so much energy to the piece. Sometimes we make a bit of our own luck in preparation. I now know this spot so well I can tell what it will be like at any given time or condition.... but that first day was pure luck..."Hey a stream! I think I'll check it out..."
