Hi Jo! Thanks so much. I found myself doing that too in the cities we visited. It was truly remarkable the age and the beauty of the place. We have little like it here in the states. Next in Italy we will tackle the Tuscan countryside! but first we have to finish paying for this trip.
Somehow it gives a brooding presence to the landscapes.
