Higgins Farm Windmill - Watercolor

here is the finished version of the old Higgin's Farm Windmill in Brewster Ma. I am really happy with how this turned out. I may play a little more with shading on the house and shingles, but maybe not.

Keep Makin' Art!

  2. Thanks Janice. I have had three good watercolors since getting back from the cape 2 weeks ago. The place just inspires me.

  4. Thanks Victoria - The Cape is probably the same for me as Maine is for you based on the great stuff you shoot there. I am not 100% sure what it is. The light is truly magnificent and there is wild beauty and iconic structures like lighthouses etc. Also I was there several times as a git and quite a bit as an adult so there is that nostalgic pull of the place. In two weeks We'll be in Italy and I am excited to see what kind of great photos and paintings come out of that trip!
