On any given summer morning in the 1950's and 60's the parking lot of the "Red Apple Rest" would have been full of cars with families heading up Route 17 to the Catskills.... Now it stands in ruins as a reminder of a bygone age....

ReplyDeleteHi Elisabeth... Yes. I remember going there the day I got my driver's license in 1984. It was already on the downhill slide then, but I remember the place fondly.
